after yoga, everyone is glowing. head to bowen road for brunch, or keep it at the airbnb with a mimosa spread. the beet root café is a local favourite for healthy brunch. cora's works well for large groups. if you want the full experience, book a private brunch delivery to your airbnb so you don't have to move.
okanagan lake afternoon
hot beach day at boyce-gyro beach or gyro beach — both are walkable from many downtown airbnbs. rent paddleboards from a local rental company (book ahead in summer). the lake in july and august is warm enough to swim, and the backdrop of the mountains never gets old. this is the kelowna photo moment every group needs.
winery tour or wine trail visit
kelowna has three wine trails within 20 minutes of downtown. for bachelorette groups, mission hill is the most iconic — the architecture and views alone are worth it. quail's gate is consistently excellent. if you want a more relaxed vibe, tantalus or indigenous world winery are beautiful and less crowded. book a private tasting for your group if possible — it elevates the whole experience.
dinner + evening out
raudz regional table is where you go when you want to impress. the terrace at mission hill if you want the full okanagan winery dinner experience (book weeks ahead). for a fun group night, BNA brewing in the south end has great food, bowling, and a party atmosphere. downtown for cocktails after — the vodka room and bar 445 are reliable. end the night on a rooftop if the weather cooperates.
sunday — slow morning + send-off

don't schedule sunday morning. this is when the real conversations happen — over coffee, in pyjamas, recapping the weekend. if your group wants movement, a 30-minute gentle stretch together is a beautiful way to close the weekend. i can also book a second session for sunday morning if you want a guided goodbye.
farewell brunch
the grateful fed is perfect for a relaxed farewell brunch. cactus club on the water for something more celebratory. if anyone's flying out of kelowna airport, it's 15 minutes from downtown so there's no rush.
practical tips from a kelowna local
book yoga early. summer weekends, especially july long weekend, bc day weekend, and labour day weekend, fill 4-6 weeks ahead. the sooner you lock in your yoga session, the better.
rent a van or book a driver. if you're doing wineries, you need a designated driver or a rental van. kelowna wine tours offer group transportation and it's 100% worth it — no one wants to worry about logistics on the day.
airbnb with outdoor space is non-negotiable. the best kelowna bachelorette weekends happen in a home with a yard, pool, or rooftop. it's where yoga happens, where morning coffee happens, where the real memories get made. don't compromise on the accommodation.
pack layers for the evenings. kelowna summers are hot during the day but can cool down quickly after sunset, especially near the lake. bring a light jacket for evening patios.
