Bowen Island Yoga Retreat
May 27–29, 2026 2 Nights & 3 Days of Yoga, Nature & Connection
Nectar Yoga on Bowen Island BC
“This retreat gave me exactly what I needed, space to breathe and reconnect.”
“I left feeling grounded, clear, and more like myself again.”
“There’s something about this place — the quiet hum of the forest, the rhythm of the ocean, the way time seems to slow the moment you arrive. This retreat is an invitation to settle into that stillness. To breathe a little deeper. To remember what abundance really feels like.
Over three days at Nectar Yoga, we’ll move, reflect, and reconnect through grounding yoga flows, mindful journaling, and moments of quiet pause. This is your space to attune to what you’re ready to create, not from effort, but from calm clarity. You’ll leave feeling lighter. Rooted. Open to receiving what’s meant for you.”

Yes, this yoga retreat is designed for all levels of practice — whether you’ve been practicing for years or are stepping onto your mat for the very first time.
Each yoga class offers options for both gentle movement and more dynamic flow, so you can choose what feels right for your body.
The goal isn’t perfection or advanced poses; it’s about reconnecting with yourself, finding stillness in nature, and moving in ways that support you.
Beginners often find retreats like this the perfect way to start, because you’re surrounded by encouragement, not pressure.

Bowen Island is easy to reach and makes for a beautiful journey. From downtown Vancouver, it’s about a 20-minute drive or bus ride to the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal. From there, you’ll take a short 20-minute ferry ride across Howe Sound to Snug Cove, Bowen Island.
Once on the island, Nectar Yoga is a quick 10-minute drive from the ferry terminal. Taxis are available, or you can carpool with other retreat guests (we’ll help coordinate rides where possible).
Many guests love the ferry ride itself — it’s the perfect way to shift gears and begin to slow down before arriving at the retreat.

Unlike large-scale retreats, the Nectar Yoga Retreat is intentionally intimate, with limited spots available. This ensures every participant receives personal attention and space to connect.
The setting on Bowen Island — a quiet, forested escape just outside Vancouver — offers the best of both worlds: easy access, but a true sense of retreat. Combined with daily yoga, plant-based cuisine, meditation, and guided journaling, this weekend balances restoration with inspiration.
-
We’ll provide all yoga props (mats, blocks, bolsters, and blankets), so you only need to bring comfortable clothing for yoga and relaxation, a water bottle, and outdoor gear for exploring Bowen Island.
We also recommend bringing a journal, swimwear for ocean dips or the thermal sanctuary, and any personal comforts that help you feel at home.
Bowen Island evenings can be cool, so a cozy sweater is always a good idea.
-
All meals are plant-based and prepared fresh with nourishing, seasonal ingredients. Expect colourful dishes that are both wholesome and delicious, designed to leave you feeling energized and light.
Meals are served in community, so you’ll get to connect with others while enjoying beautifully crafted food.
Allergies and sensitivities can often be accommodated — please let us know in advance.
-
Each day includes a blend of yoga, meditation, and workshops, balanced with free time to explore or rest.
Mornings often start with meditation and energizing yoga, followed by nourishing breakfast.
Midday includes workshops or time to enjoy the island.
Evenings feature restorative yoga, sound healing, or journaling, followed by dinner and relaxation.
While the schedule is thoughtfully designed, you’ll always have space to listen to your own body and choose rest when needed.
